Hi,

Since SAP NetWeaver Composition Environment 7.1, the specifications EJB 3.0 and JPA 2.0 are supported. The relevant documentation also includes this specifications:

Hi all,

Just a small correction: JPA 2.0 is not supported, and, as far as I know, neither is EJB 3.1, as they are part of the Java EE 6 technology, which is not supported currently.

As of SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1, the supported versions are EJB 3.0 and JPA 1.0.

You can also have a look at [THIS|] thread regarding SAP support of Java EE 6.

Hi all,

long time since last post in this thread - what about an update concerning the Java EE 6 / EJB 3.1 / JPA 2.0 reoadmap?

Dzianis,

As per my understanding, SAP NetWeaver already have EJB 3 functionality. I might be wrong as I have not worked on EJB3.?.

Thanks,

Hamendra

EJB 3.0 is definitely supported in NW 7.1 as it's a part of JEE 5.0.
