Hi,

Thanks for the reply, my requirement is not for the TO[transfer Order].

I ma looking for the Picking Request which a part of Delivery Process. I found the number range creation in T-code: SDPI

Define Number Range for Pick Order

In this step, you define number ranges for picking requests.

But i don't know where to assign them?

Hope my requerement is clear now, please reply if you want to clarify any more...

Dear Sushil,

I have checked & i dont think picking request number is taking from SDPI number range.

because if you observe. picking request will be in YYYYMMDD format which is maintained in Picking tab in delivery document.

which means, picking date is taking as picking request number, not from SDPI settings & that too thsi picking request will be applicable only if we maintain item category is relevant for picking, otherwise there will be no picking request document create.

eg: if you create delivery on 04.12.2009 & pick date/time: 04.12.2009

then picking request no: 20091204.

You can test it & confirm.

Hi Riyaaz,

Very good observation, i came to know that is is not picking from SDPI, and it is picking only the Date instead of any number range.

But please tell me the solution for picking the number ranges in 'Picking Request'. How can we achieve it?

Or atleast let me know will it pick the time & Date instead of just only the date, it will solve my problem.

At present cant tell you exactly , how & why system picking the current date as picking request no. Need to do some analysis.

But one thing is sure, that its picking only date . but not the time.
