Installing Teradata connection driver on BO XI3.1 to build Business View

Hello everyone,

I am facing a problem using my BO XI3.1 server, what I am trying to do is quite simple but I can't figure it out easily...

I built many BVs using a dynamic connection using a static one wich is my ODBC connection to Teradata (indeed there is an issue when someone else try to reach data through my CR reports using these BVs).

What I must do now is to get a direct connection from the BO server to the Teradata one like it's natively done with Oracle (Oracle Server is available when you have to specify a data source) but I don't know how to update the available driver list within Business View Manager, wich Teradata driver I would have to install and how to install it.

May you have any clue to help me dealing with it? Thanks or your Help.

Hi

according to the supported platforms document access from CR to Teradata is only supported over the Teradata ODBC and JDBC drivers. A native connection to the Teradata system is not supported.
