SRM 7 Unable to create bid response

Hello:

I have created ab RFx and am trying to create a bid response. Upon clicking on the Responses and Awards button, on the following screen, I selectde the line that contains the bidder/supplier but the Response on Behalf button does not activate. The start date has elapsed. What could I be doing wrong?

Hi,

Pl check the following details

1. Create Vendor Contact Person Login ID (in both Portal and SRM)

2. Assign Bidder Role in both Portal and SRM

3. Create Rfx and Publish

4. Login to Vendor ID

5. Create Response for the Rfx

6. Then go to Response and Award from other login id

7. Do comparision & do Accept or Rejection process

Hi

Are you trying to create the response on behalf of your supplier ? have you activated the Surrogate bidding chek flag for the bidder? Once you check the flag surrogate bidding in "manage external BP" then you should be able to send the response on your vendor behalf.

You should create a login for vendor with proper roles and then try to respond to the bid
