Dear QM Guys

I have 100 materials managed in batch, there are max.10 characteristic in our plant but the tolerance is changing material wise ,I define a class u2013Common & assigned this characteristic as an class char . I did not give the value to class char Then I linked this 10 char to 10 MIC

Then In material master I assigned the class(023) common to all 100 materials.& give the values in classification as per requirement Suppose for mat A I given the value for only 4 char For mat B I given the value for 2 chr

Now when I create the inspection plan & assign the MIC to this For mat A I put only 4 mic & for B I assign only 2 mic

Now I go to result recording it only show unit There is no tolerance which I give in classification view in material master I want to see the upper limit & lower lim while res recording

Please suggest how can I solve this prblm

Dear Aaditya

If you want to bring the specification maintained in the material master you need to use Material specification. Here you need to maintain the MIC and characterisitic relation.

If this is maintained then in result recording it will data from the material
