I have a scenario(without XI) that uses Sockets to run a script(that receives some parameters) on a Solaris server(socket server), any ideas on how to replace the client socket or all sockets with XI in order to run the script?
Hello Ruben,
it seems that you haven't got any answer to this topic.
In blog /people/saravanakumar.kuppusamy2/blog/2005/12/15/socket-integration-with-xi
is a solution described, that may fit your requirement.
I am investigating in options how to implement an SAP XI integration, where a.) the legacy system sents messages via a tcp/ip socket to XI which uses this message to perform BAPI calls to R3.
b.) Where I want to implement a service in XI used by ERP which results in sending a messgage to a tcp/ip socket of the legacy application.
Have you now implemented something like this ?
Regards
Michael
