Hi Experts,

Where exactly do we find movement types in retail process.I know the txt code OMJJ to see different movement types but where we find like 251 sale of article like mvt types in retail process.I think it will be found in IDOC only or in somewhere else ?I think you understand my question exactly.

Hi ,

movement type 251 is for sale in store from POS. It is configured in POS DM and it is transfered to SAP retail from POS DM thru IDOC.

All movement types are going to configure in POS DM only?How we get the movement types and How it will pick?on what basis it will pick the movement type?can explain me the complete process of getting the movement types in to retail system.

Hi

Movement types are set up in the inbound processing in SAP Retail (ERP)

251 for sales an 252 for returns. In fact the goods movment type 251 creates an FI document as it is a goods issue

Menu - S & D > POS Interface > Inbound>

Look the - Aggregate sales control, control sales as per receipts, movement type - dependent control of goods movmements.
