System type for technical system.

Hi All,

I want to create a new technical system for my receiver sys. The receiver is the PI .

so its SAP->XI->XI Interface.

Can anybady explain what will be the System Type for receiver PI.(web as abap or ...etc)

Also pls explain the diffrent system types.

Hi,

Technical system for PI is of type Web As ABAP (because PI is also a product of SAP)

Other technical system types:

Web as ABAP -

Web as JAVA -

on a separate host. An instance itself consists of cluster nodes that can

communicate with each other.For Enterprise java applications on J2EE stack.

Third party -

Hi,

I think for PI its technical system of type ABAP only...as one of the client of the system is used as Integration engine...

so need to select type as Web as ABAP only..if still doubt then go to your SLD and chekc how the current PI server/system is created and its respective business system...

Hi,

its not wEB AS abap OR Web as JAVA or third Party.

it is PI Technical System only,select the system as Process Integration technical system.
