SMSY: Differences between "SAP ERP 6.0" and "EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0"

Hi,

I'm trying to define the landscape components for my SAP ERP6 EHP4 server.

I noticed the following product version from SMSY tcode:

SAP ERP >> SAP ERP 6.0

SAP ERP Enhance Package >> EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0

As per the documentation, I should choose SAP ERP >> SAP ERP 6.0. However, when I run tcode SMSY_SETUP, and run the automatic data transfer from SLD, it automatically categorize the installation under SAP ERP Enhance Package >> EHP4 for SAP ERP 6.0.

I would really appreciate it if someone can help me to answer this question.

Hello,

Normally, the synchronzation between the (1) Managed System to (2) SLD and the (2) SLD to (3) SMSY should be done automatically, without any manual configuration.

In your case, remove your system from SMSY and re-synchronize the (2) SLD with (3) SMSY by starting the LANDSCAPE FETCH job.

Hi,

If you have installed EHP4 on you ERP 6.0 system then it will be categorized under EHP4 only. EHP4 is Enhancement packages which contains addition functionality.

Check SAP note 1297231.
