Quote processing for Contracts

Hello All,

I need your help with this problem - I have created a quote with reference to a value contract. As it is a quote, the value contract's 'Value released' is unaffected. So far it is ok. Now, when I create a sales order with reference to this quote, there is still no effect on the 'Value released' in the value contract.

Value contract -> Quote -> Sales Order

Please let me know if any configuration settings need to be maintained to enable the value contract to recognize the sales order and thereby update the 'Value released'.

There is an SAP note for solving this problem. The note number is 190308.

Hi Rugmani,

In my view, the standard settings cannot meet your request. You know, sales orders are not directly created with reference to value contracts.

If you insist on your request, you may seek help from ABAPer.

Thanks for your response Cathy. So, does it have to be done through user-exists? If yes, can you suggest any suitable user-exits for the same?
