Yes.
SPARC is a BigEndian architecture, x64 is LittleEndian; due to that byte order difference an e. g. Oracle database created on SPARC and copied over to x64 can't be opened (for details see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Endianness)
The easiest way to accomplish that is to do a system copy using R3load. Since you neither change the operating system nor the database you don't need a certified migration consultant.
