Hi, can anyone advise the following inconsistency?

I did an availabilty check in VA02 and the confirmed date is 20/12 Sunday. But i do a backorder rescheduling using V_V2, the new confirmed date is 21/12 Monday.

Thanks

PP

Hi Karthik,

Why izzit that VA02 does not consider factory calendar whereas V_V2 considers? Isn't this causing confusion? Is any additional configuration needs to be done?

Thanks

Hello,

When you created the order, the system might have confirmed the stock, but if you do V_V2, then the systme considers all the open orders with that material and re allocates stock quantities. during this process it might have shuffled.

if you do not want the order to be disturbed, during the re-scheduling , In the sales order, select the item and go the Schedule Lines tab page, and click on "Fixed date and Qty" button, then during the re-scheduling, this sales order is not considered.

Re-Scheduling runs the logic of Cumulation. so it also depends on what cumulation rule you have set up to your checking group during customizing.

Check the OSS Note 33084 - Confirmation during rescheduling to understand how the system behaves during the re-scheduling.

Dear PP,

Could you check if the Factory calender has Sunday as working or Holiday. Based on the leadtime maintained in the material master the stock if available the date is determined in the order. But when you run the Availability check manually or do the backorder processing the system reschedules the stock to next available working day according to the Planning/ factory calender.

Regards,

Karthik.
