Network for 3rd level WBS

Hi Experts

My project strucure contains various hierarchy levels for WBS elements.

TOP WBS 1

- WBS 1.1: Boiler

WBS 1.1.1 - Mech

WBS 1.1.2 - Elec

- WBS 1.2: Turbine

WBS 1.2.1 - Mech

WBS 1.2.2 - Elec

I wish a network created automatcally at the time of assigning activityfor each Level 3 WBS element.

Is there any setting to define the network generation.

The idea is to have a collective purchase requisition at dept specific WBS for each equipment.

network header should be created automatically when you create the activity to the 3rd level WBS

should be standard

Hi Virendra

When i create 1st activity under WBS 1.1.1, the NWH is automatically created.

But, subsequentky when i create a 2nd activity under WBS 1.1.2, the activty got created with out a new network.

I look for having a seperate NW for each WBS at this hierarchy level, rather than having one NWH for all the activities

this is because in the project profiel you have setting for network per PD and not WBS

check OPSA proj profile, plng board dates tab, network assdingment 1 is for PD and 2 is for WBS

Yes.. you can create network automatically at the time of activity creation..

if assign default network profile to project profile and in network profile mrp controller network type, plant .. then system create automatically network for an activity..
