Trasport Error: Transport Tool tp has fail to return.

Hi folks,

I have an issue with Transport. System check has failed on Testing Transport tool. TP keeps on running and it never returns!

R3Trans returns success.

Tp Connect is getting connected to DB, but not returning back to command prompt with "Every thing OK"

Env:

OS - AIX

DB - DB2

TP version - 700 patch 144

Cleared /usr/sap/trans/temp contents solved the problem!!!!!

Try to patch kernel with the latest version of tp and r3trans from SAP Marketplace... then run it again

Is there any work-around for this other than the patch? I'm surprised the behavior on changing the storage would make this impact!!!

Have you found any errors on the tp monitor in STMS?... I suggested a patch because is a quick way to verify that the problem is coming from a kernel issue rather than a system one.

Hi

Also check TP system log for errors. You may see the message "...RDDIMPDP is not scheduled." You then need to execute program RDDNEWPP in client 000 as user DDIC.
