Initialization ALERTS Failed, Return Code 000249

Dear All,

Daily we are getting logs in qaulity server like "initialization ALERTS Failed, Return Code 000249" from implementation on wards,and we are not getting CCMS alerts in RZ20.

I have checked developer traces,in that showing like following

• ERROR => ShmGet: Shared Pool Space exhausted. PoolKey=10 [shmux.c 2369]

• ERROR => AlCreateAttachShm_AS: ShmCreate (SHM_CREATE) rtc = 1 [alxxappl.c

• ERROR => CCMS: sAlInit: could not create/attach shared memory key 13 (rtc =249) [alxx.c 1187]

• ERROR => AlDpAdmInit: sAlInit rtc = 249 [alxx.c 514]

• ERROR => DpLoopInit: AlDpAdmInit [dpxxdisp.c 2026]

CCMC related jobs like SAP_CCMS_DT_SCHEDULER,SAP_CCMS_MONI_BATCH_DP running successfully in our server.

Please give the solution.

Hi, this error can occur in older patch level of SAP kernel. I suggest to update your SAP kernel to the latest patch level as per Note 19466 as a first step.
