Sap netweaver ehp1 sr1 -> 32bits?

Hello experts

I want to know if its possible to install sap netweaver ehp1 sr1 in one Server with 32 bits.

at installation documents says 64 bit, but there is say 32bits its possible Dialog Insrance balbal. Im confused.

I want to install only in one server (32bits) with ABAP+JAVA instance.

I want a definate answer: 32 bits yes, or not?

Hi.

I don't know how about Abap, because I work only with Java, but you can install NetWeaver Developer Workplace with Java AS on 32-bit machine and then install additional usage types through JSPM.

Hi,

You cannot install Netweaver EHP1 on 32 bit system. So you have to install it on 64 bit system but you can install dialog instance on 32 bit system.

As far as I know, Enhancement Package Installer is the standard installation tool for all 64-bit platform.

So, for 32 bits, you should use SAINT for abap, and JSPM for Java.

for 64 bits, use sap-ehp tool. Except for Solution manager system, you should use SAINT for either 32 bits or 64 bits.
