Here is the business scenario in short . We have sales orders for A ( eg. Car ) and also we have sales orders for B ( eg . Tires of Car) .
We are just using APO-DP . We want to explode (using DP BOM) the sales orders of Car (A) to get the sales of tires . Once explosion is complete add it with sales of tires . Once we have total sales history of tires (B), forecast at tire level .
We have DP PPMs in place in APO and we have created " BOM Relevant POS " . Also have 9ABOMI,9ABOMIO, 9APPMNAME information in CVCs .
We have created 3 keys figures one for Historical sales (To look at Cars and Tires ), one for Indpendent Demand 401 (for cars) and one for Dependent Demand 501 (for tires) .
Here is the problem . we don't want to DP BOM forecasting . DP BOM forecasting is working fine . It is forecasting the car information in Independent Demand Key figure and also exploding the Dependent Demand of Tires in Dependent Demand Key figure .
What we want to do is just DP BOM explosion . It should take the history of tires from History Sales keyfigure and explode it . We should be able to see the history of Tires after exploding , when we select the tires in selection criteria in the same History sales key figure .
As of now we cannot see the explosion of sales history from Cars to Tires in the planning book .
Any help on how to just explode DP BOM for the sales history will be truely appreciated .
