MDSD with mobile netweaver 7.1

i want to deploy MDSD application with mobile netweaver 7.1

can i deploy MDSD3 ?? or it just work with MDSD4 .....

i did not find MDSD4 on SAP market place and i have no guide to it

Hi Ahmed,

You can migrate MDSD 3.0 to 7.1.However, the application is not officially supported by SAP on 7.1.You can run the application in Backward compatibility mode.

You cannot deploy MDSD3 on Mobile 7.1

7.1 Enhancement Package 1 was specifically released with support for MDSD, and it works with 4.0 only.

One more thing. mDSD 4.0 is in Ramp-up, IIRC. So I am not sure if you will simply get it on the SMP.

could you give an application name (the simplest one) that i can use with Mobile netweaver 7.1 SP08

i just want to make a complete cycle with any application then i will go back to MDSD4

Maybe somebody on SDN has something to share , but there is no official sample application, AFAIK.

As to mDSD, you can get hold of it by applying for ramp up.
