.NET (XI) SAP Interaction

Hi All,

M new to this SAP, M basically a .net developer.

so Can any one help me out how can i interact with SAP(back end)?

Using vb.net web services i have to get data from SAP thru intermediate XI

can anyone tell me how to start with?

Sorry you were not clear with my previous question.

Actually i want to create a web service using vb.net and the details to be passed to SAP via XI.

Is there any example for this or how to start with this.

can you elaborate a bit more on your suggested system architecture ?

I don't understand what you mean with "vb.net web services i have to get data from SAP thru intermediate XI";

Do you mean to invoke from a VB.NET client via a webproxy SAP webservice in the backend ?

If so, there is information on such a setup available in other threads in this forum; e.g.

But what role do you then have in mind for SAP XI; do you want to utilize SAP XI for exposing SAP backend functionality, to be invoked via a webservice proxy ?
