Hi,
We have a scenario wherein if 5 consecutive lots are accepted without rejection, the next 10 lots are not inspected. After that the process starts all over again. 5 consecutive lots inspected, next 10 lot will automatically go to unrestricted use.
But if for example during inspection, 1 lot is inspected and the is a defect all succeeding 10 lots are inspected. Then the process will repeat again for the 5 consecutive lot and the 10 succeeding lots.
May I know your idea on this? can this be configured as a SAP Standard? Or is there any work around available.
Thank you,
Raymond
Hi
This is possible through DMR
In QDR1-->enter DMR on the lot creation
Stage 10 :
Click on "Ins": say 4
No. of inspection:5.
New insp. stage:20
Rejections 1
New insp. stage:10
Stage 20:
Click on "SKIP"
No. of inspection:10.
New insp. stage:10
Rejections 1
New insp. stage:10
Save this DMR
Use this DMR in QP01-->Header with lot selection.
Create the lot & check the scenario
This will work

Yes
As soon as Lot is created Quality level will change as per stages suggested.
It will skip( stock will move to unrestricted) but
you have to
1. take UD manually
2.By Mass UD QA10
3.In QA16 create a varient for skip
In QA17 Run the varient as per requirement.
And at plant level setting in SPRO maintain the maximum skip duaration.
This wll automatically clear the lot & tak UD

Dear Raymond
QDL3, QDL2 can be used for DRM
You can also use MCXA, MCXC, MCXI

Dear Raymond
When DMR stage of a material is in the skip stage and you have also activated Automatic Usage decision tick for the inspection type then when the inspection lot created the stock will be moved to unrestricted directly.
The inspection lot will not hold any stock with it. The stock would have been already cleared. But the lot status will be REL.
So will have to give UD code to this inspection lot so that the statistic of no of lots accepted , rejected and the Quality score gets updated

Dear Raymond
Also please note If both a skip lot and an automatic usage decision occur, the system performs a ship to stock without posting the material into the quality inspection stock. The ship to stock does not take place during inspection lot summary.
inspection lot will be created but the stock would have already moved to unrestricted. But still the lot will have to be given UD to give the acceptance and update the statistics

Hi,

- can you please explain this further? yes, I want an auto UD and it is ship to stock.. can you please tell me how to do these?
Thanks,
Raymond
Hi
As i told you earlier that Usage decision & stock posting are two different things
1. For skip lot :UD you ahve to make or possible by ways suggested.
2.Stock posting will be done by system automatically as for skip lot material moved to Unrestricted automatically but lot is only created for sake of creation
I hope its clear
Regards
Sujit
