Segregation of Inspection for material

Hi,

Currently we have scenario wherein there are two classification of material that need to be segregated. One goes through special handling and the other 1 normal.

Dear Raymond

At any given point of time if you want to know the DMR status you need to go to QDL2.

Here you have option of chaging Next Inspection stage. If you want for next GR a Normal inspection then change the existing stage to normal inspection stage

I dont see any direct solution for this

If you have set DMR for a material , then it will follow the DMR stages. If you decide that the material has to go to normal inspection before doing the GR change the quality level as normal inspection.

Hi Gajesh,

Basically there are two way of inspection in the system.

One, is to do normal inspection in which all materials are inspected.

Second, is use DMR in which for example 5 consecutive lots passed, succeeding 10 lots are not inspected.

The thing is sometimes a material uses the normal inspection but the same material can be changed and use the DMR.
