Hi

Present Scenario:

When creating the the sales order with reference to contract. In Sales order the pricing date= Sales order creation date.

Requirement

We need In sales order the pricing date = contract Start Date.

We need to introduce the routine in copying control.

In the VOV8 Sales document types, you can maintain PROPOSED PRICING DATE as C

Please check this and try.

hi,

Standard way to control pricing date is at document type definition (VOV8 transaction). There you can define if you want to use today's date, contract date etc.

But as I understand you don't want to create/change document types and you want to use custom solution here.

Then the option would be to define the pricing date either at copy control or at document user-exits such as MV45AFZZ (form userexit_move_field_to_vbkd).

My preference would be to use copy control, especially because you would like to get your pricing date from preceding document.

My requirement is to create a routine and add in copying control.
