Deployment Error on customized Portal Logon Page after SPS 20

Hi there,

after upgrading to Netweaver 7.0 SPS 20, the deployment of customized xxx.xxx.portal.runtime.logon.par gets an error while renaming the package to com.sap.portal.runtime.par is working.

Since the question is marked as answered, would you mind sharing the solution? I am facing the same issue here. Don't know if it was any different before SP20, but i cannot deploy my custom login screen and the only error in the logfile is "Application upload aborted", which is not really helpful, as the reason why it is aborted is not given.

Hi there,

the ErrorMessaage when trying to deploy via Portal Administration Console a Par-File named xxx.xxx.portal.runtime.logon.par is simply:

"Application upload aborted."

After renamimg this Par-File to sap.com.portal.runtime.logon.xxx.par , deployment is successful.

For other Par-Files with NON SAP namespace (e.g. xxx.xxx.portal.navigation.masthead.par) , this problem does not occur.
