Hi Shreya,

If I understand you correctly, you'd like to have your users log in with their Windows ID using SSO from the desktop towards SAP. i.o.w. : they simply log on to their windows workstation, open a browser, enter http://portal.company.com/irj and are automatically logged in. right?

For this, SAP provides two mechanisms, mostly depending on your portal release:

1. Iisproxy

2. spnego.

Both have been covered here multiple times therefore I suggest searching SDN for these terms. To give you a general idea

Iisproxy :: You need to configure the portal to use LDAP as Data Source, and then configure NTLM authentication using a IIS proxy.

spnego :: KDC is your Windows 2000 Domain Controller which is using the ADS as a User Store. SPNego Login Module is a new JAAS module introduced for the kerberos SSO, which comes by default with SP15. However if you are on SP14 then you have to deploy the sda file for this module. Also, you dont need IIS with kerberos and this is OS independent.

For detail implementation check these blogs
