Hi ,
Im new for CRM. How to upload the Master data ( Customer , Material ) to CRM.
Any configuration possible .. pls let me know
Prakash
Hi Prakash,
You have a transaction in CRM for Initial Load of data from R/3 to CRM. Uset T.code: R3AS. Choose Load object for the master data you would like to upload and execute. For this all your CRM Middleware settings needs to be set.
For more info browse:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm40/helpdata/en/3a/8979a8109d11d6999400508b6b8b11/frameset.htm
For Customer data:
Click: mySAP CRM->General Settings in mySAP CRM
->Replication of Customer Data
For Master data:
Click: mySAP CRM->General Settings in mySAP CRM
->Replication of Materials
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Hi Prakash,
Set up the Initial Load at the CRM end.
Goto the transaction R3AS to setup the Initial Load and get the data from R/3 backend into CRM.
Specify the object to be loaded, specify the source site as R/3 and Destination Site as CRM.
Execute.
<b>Reward points if it helps.</b>

Hi Prakash,
for the initial load of customers from R/3 to CRM, you need to use the object "CUSTOMER_MAIN" (and "CUSTOMER_REL" for relationships). Before you do an initial load, you need to make sure that all technical and middleware settings have been completed and that you have already loaded the needed objects in the right sequence. (For instance, you first do the customizing download from R/3 before doing any master data loads).
For the BP load, also check whether these steps have been completed before you do the load.
