how to transport smartform. not able to find request no in dev server.

Hello ,

I have made changes in a smartform on development server and now i want ot trnsport it production. But problem is that i am not able to find its request to realeses and also at time of change sys dint promt me for new request.

Anyone have idea what could be done in this case.

Hi,

I transport request is not created means follow the below steps

1. Enter the smartform name in transaction 'Smartforms'.

2.In the menu item Goto->object directory entry.

3.Enter the package and save it.Then immediatly it will ask for request.

4. Create new request and follow the instructions which given in above solution

Hi,

Go to SE03,

Click on Objects in Requests

Double clic on Search for Objects in Requests/Tasks

Enter Obect Id as SSFO - Enter your Smartform name.

Check in which request its stored.

Release it and move it to Transport it.

If you want to change the package : go to Change Object directory entries and follow the same.

hi

If u a Transport request has been created and u r not able to find it even in SE09/Se10, as suggested check in SE09 under LOCAL CHANGE Requests.

If already a request is assigned and is not RELEASED Ask ur Collegue to make a change in the same form and activate then it will ask whether to INSERT a REQUEST in the TR then u can know the TR #.

make sure the SF is assigned to a development class.. if its saved as a local object it will not prompt for a Tr. req number. assign it to a Dev class and it will promt for a Tr, req.
