SNP using Storage Location MRP Area

Hi Experts,

I have 2 storage locations in each DC.

I use stock of these 2 storage locations for diffrenet channels.

I get 2 diffrenet channels forecast in 2 categoires FA and FC respectively.

Can I using "Storage Location MRP Area" to calculate net requiremenet for each channel?

( FA forecast should be netted off against stock in Storage loc-1 and FC Forecast should be netter off against stock in Storage loc-2)

If yes, what are the setting required?

I can release forecast at Storage Location MRP Area but stock shows on the DC. How can I use stock (with diff storage loc) for the forecast at Storage Location MRP Area ?

I am using SNP Optimizer in SCM 7.0.

How can you release forecast on Storage location MRP area? Can you tell me in detail how you can do this?

Hi KRN,

Storage location MRP area is location type 1007 and can work as any other location.

Hence, when we releaase Demand from DP, it can be released at Storage location MRP area.
