Visual Admin on client?

I have a remote server on which I have the Web AS, including the Visual Admin and DeployTool and all other tools.

But I am developing on my notebook with the Netweaver Dev Studio, deploying my apps to the remote server.

It would be easy to have some of those tools locally, eg the Visual Admin. Is that possible? If yes, how?

hi

You can map that drive of the remote host on your computer and use those files ie: the Go.Bat file.

otherwise you may also copy the Visual Administrator to your local machine. there was another thread which was discussing how to do this.Check this thread out.

Hope that helps.

Just copy the admin folder from unix or windows system to your desktop. make sure to have correct JDK/SDK.

Then double click on the go.gat or go from your desktop to launch visual administrator.

Thanks!
