I you mean it should not imported in any subsequent system, then you can just delete it from the import queue in STMS. The cofile and data file will remain in the TRANS_DIR, unless you delete it manually.

But as Juan said, you cannot remove it from SE01 anymore.

Sure you can, but its not clean and recommended:

SE16N

enter the tabel: E070

in the command box: (upper left corner) enter "&sap_edit"

enter

you should now get a infomarion: SAP editing function is activated

enter the transport nulmber

execute,

modify the status -> Set to D, now you can delete from SE01 ( maybe repeat for every task)

Also clean the data and cofile in DIR_TRANS

That sounds perfect.

But could you explain addiitonally the steps for cleaning the data and cofile in DIR_TRANS.

Thanks.

Dir trans normally points to /usr/sap/trans ( on unix)

this is where your transport files are stored

if you want to be sure it never goes to another system , you should remove those files also.

But isn`t there only a co- and data file for the whole transport request? How is it then possible to delete only the task, which is not relevant anymore and should be deleted.

Yes sure, if you only released the task..

If you would also have released the transport, then a (safety) cleanup of data and cofile is needed

SE38 and run program ze070_mod_tr, input Task # and change status from "R" released to "D" modifiable.

Not as far as I know, simply create a new request without that particular object...
