Hi,

The sapinst will check the registry to find out if the oracle is installed or not.

You may check this by running 'regedit' and navigate to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE

-> SOFTWARE

-> ORACLE

I guess it's missing.

Possible causes:

1. Oracle installed, but not installed correctly -- > check oracle

installation logs , uninstall and reinstall.

2. Wrong bit version of oracle installed -- > check RDBMS-CD

(LABEL.ASC) used for the installation

3.Download and install latest SAPINST from SAP Service MArketplace

and re-start installation.

Best regards,

Warren

Did you install Oracle using "sapserver.cmd" or did you use setup.exe? If the latter then environment variables are missing.

Dear Nikunj,

Thanks for your reply.

I have already set the ORACLE_HOME and Oracle service is also running. Only one oracle service i.e. related to iSQLPlus is started.

From command prompt I am able to run sqlplus /nolog.

Thanking you ones again,

Nirav
