hello Experts!
Having Two systems DEV & PRD. DEV is created as Domain controller. while adding PRD in Domain getting following
Message.
RFC communications error with system/destination TMSADM@ DEV.DOMAIN_DEV
Message no. XT101
Diagnosis
An RFC error occurred in the TMS communications layer.
Target system: PRD.DOMAIN_DEV(000)
Function: TMS_CI_CHECK_ACCESSTOKEN
RFC message:Error opening an RFC connection.
Hi Rupesh,
Please ensure below tasks are in place
1. Please make sure that RFC destination is generated in SM59,It should be in R/3 connections and ensure the 'Test Connection' to test the connectivity (in your case, DEV -> PROD and vice-versa)
2. Each of the other SAP systems in your TMS landscape should have an entry in their server's hosts file for the other
Thus, ensure your DEV system hostfile has entry of PROD and PROD host file has entry of DEV.
3. Finally Goto STMS -> Overview -> Systems. Check the Communication tab for each SAP system to make sure they are all using the same Transport Group.
I hope this helps you to resolve the problem.
Regards
Sekhar

Hi,
First check your PRD system RFC connection (SM59 - ABAP connection - TMSADM ).
If it's working fine, you can add in PRD system (STMS - Configure Domain DEV) and activate in DEV system (STMS - System -Activate).
If RFC not working check your RFC user Password and correct it.
If already configred system, don't change any changes in STMS , please restart DEV (TMS Domain) system your problem will solve automatically (This is your logon user password cridencial problem).
Thanks
Jibin.
Try to reset TMS user in System overview> extras> reset user tmsadm

Check the host file entries in the both system, if its missing add and check the RFC connection test again

Hi Rupesh,
Can you check is there is any communication problem between DEV & PRD.
Check whether Gateway ports are open between both the system.
Thanks
Anil
