Modification of HTTP requests

Hi there,

I am trying to setup a rewriting concept on the webdispatcher as mentioned in http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/48/49c7403a79350ce10000000a42189d/frameset.htm

by adding in the sapwebdisp.pfl (testenviroment on windows)

icm/HTTP/mod_0 = PREFIX=/, FILE=D:\sap\WebDispatcher\action.txt

The action.txt contains (as an example)

RegRewriteUrl ^/aaa(.*) /index.html

But it seems that the webdispather is not picking up the icm/HTTP/mod_0 instruction.

Anyone experience with this topic ?

Hi,

I have not yet tried this very interesting new feature.

2 ideas to check.

Do you use SAP WEb Dispatcher 7.1 ? The rewrite feature did not exist with release 7.0.

Do you have empty lines in your action.txt ? (CR LF lines)

With release 7.0, the permission file does not support empty lines. You have to add a comment character (#) at the beginning of "empty lines".
