Hi!

I am looking for the detialed information about the following SAP Basis topics:

- Print from SAP with Print Server (SAPLPD)

- Central distribution of SAP Logon.ini file on Windows

Can some one recommend some detailed documentation from SAP?

Hello,

You can set the Windows environmental variable SAPLOGON_INI_FILE to the folder where you are centrally storing the saplogon.ini file. How you set the environmental variable on your user's machines depends on your deployment tools. I include it in the 'On Install' script in the SAPGUI Installation Server and also allow users to apply if with a link from the IT website.

For printing you can use SAPSprint (print method S). SAPLPD has been replaced with SAPSprint, which runs as a service on the print server.
