Outbound delivery with not reference (WOD) and WM activities

Hi,

My customer needs to delivery paperwork for a WM transfer between bin locations. The outside bin is located 15 miles from the plant so the paperwork is mandatory.

I have been trying to create an Outbound delivery with not reference (WOD type) but this does not triger the WM functionality so a transfer order can not be created for picking purposes?

This kind of delivery gives me the paperwork but I can not create the TO for WM activities.

Agree with above .. IF the destination storage bin is 15 miles away then why is this NOT a seperate Storage Location/ Warehouse?

If this absolutely HAS to be a bin to bin using a transfer order then use the TO Print functionality/ a custom WM Movement Type/ and generate an output for this movement this way.

Hi,

OD type WOD is used for decentralised warehouses.

You need to create a separate MM storage location for your external stock and to do transfers between storage locations (like a plant to plant transfer). You will then have an outbound delivery and papers.
