Hi,
Can I copy the data from one Planning Book of one Planning Area to another Planning Book of different Planning Area ? If so how ?
Thanks in advance
Prabhat
Hi Prabhat,
As you know, planning area is the master source for keeping all
the data that has been stored under an infocube.
From planning area, the data is getting populated to various
planning books via its key figures.
So, when you copy data from planning area to planning area, the
relevant key figure data will get populated.
From the planning book, it access data from relevant planning area
via its key figures. Hence if you copy planning area data, this will
serve your purpose.
Based on the key figures that you set in the planning book, it pulls
data into the planning book and functions.
Hope this is clear now. Please confirm

Hi Prabhat,
You can use transaction /sapapo/tscopy (copy version management)
to copy one or more key figures between planning areas.
