Hello,
I updated Vista with service pack 2 and for some reason my SAP gui is extremely slow when I logon to a SAP server. The SAP Server is fine seeing that my colleagues have normal performance. My version is 710, with patch level 14. I've reinstalling, but with the same result.
Is there any known solution for this issue?
Thanks and regards
David
Yes you have a compatibility issue, I had the same problem. I am using Windows 7, a technician changed the Sap Business One.exe file properties and enabled the Windows XP Service Pack 2 compatibility mode. This caused a GUI problem that made the windows opening effect to be showed very slowly.
I disabled the compatibility mode and SAP Client worked fine again, you could try to do the same or test some other compatibility settings combination.
Best Regards

hello
this error descriptions are very often very very hard to analyse.
A first possible analyse is to make an perfromance trace in the sapgui itself.
Please pay attention the notes
#521343 and
#851012 !
In this trace you can see then, where the high time is used, in Frontend or in the Backend.
But really it is better to analyse such issues in an OSS Message.
Best Regards, Sven

Try using a different design. If that doesn't help, try installing Patchlevel 15.
