Problems with "Industry Sector" field ? :-(

Hi guys,

This is a big question for SRM Gurus 😃

The Problem: I need to replicate "Industry Sector" vendor field from R3 to SRM. For some reason right now that field is blank =(.

The Solution ? I tried to maintain the Industry Sector catalog in SRM: "Maintain Industry Systems and Industries" (SAPLBUC3).

The Questions:

1. Is this the right for maintain the Industry Sector catalog?

2. If the answer for question #1 is yes, the field size in R3 is 4 chars, but in SRM is 10 chars. What should I enter ? 4 chars or 10 chars ?

Cross-application components -> SAP Business Partner -> Business Partner -> Organizations -> Maintain Industry Systems and Industries
