Condition record text - tax condition

Dear all,

In the condition records, it is possible to maintain a text.

If you go to transaction VK12, enter condition type e.g. MWST & open it. Choose in the menu "goto" -> "condition texts".

2 texts descriptions are shown by default:

- Internal comment

- Concluding comments

One can store text in these fields.

However, my question is:

- can we create additional text comments/text fields, like a third description to store text for different purposes via customizing?

- if yes, how to create this additional text in customizing?

Hi,

Yes you can create addition text types and add it to your relevant condition texts.

You can do it in below method.

Go to Tx: VOTXN

Select the radio button "Conditions" under "Pricing Conds" section

Then press "Text types" button

Using "New Entries" button, create your own text type with a new ID.

Save

Select Back button

Again while selecting the radio button of "Pricing Conds" - "Conditions" click on "Change" button

Select Application as "V"

Press Enter key

Based on the Condition type, highlight relevant "Text Procedure" Eg: if it's a Tax condition, highlight "04 - Taxes"

To check the relevant text procedure for your condition type, Double click on "Text procedure assignment" node.

Select your condition type (MWST) and see what's there under "TxPrc" column. Make a note of that.

That's the line you need to highlight in above step.

One highlight the correct text procedure, Double click on "Text lD's in Textprocedure" node

Now you will be able to see those 2 existing text types there. Create a new entry there and add your new condition text type to that procedure.

You need to give a sequence number and ID.

Save

Now check in VK11 again. new text type will be shown there.
