We have added few user fields to the Project Definition.
How can we make this fields part of project summarization via master data characteristics, so that it can be used for selections in the Info System?
Please read SAP help in the project reporting section on summarisation. You will need to build hierarchies and then run the reports for your user defined fields.
If you want to use the user defined field for your normal PS reporting (not summarisation) then you can set them up in your dynamic selection and choose these as selection parameters for your reports. If you search in OSS you wil find a note on how to extend the dynamic selection for custome fields.
