NWBC : Field : user settings - Access key activated

Dear,

when using webdynpro screens in NWBC in SAP ECC 604 , you can with the second mouse button change different settings

• Hide input field "XXXXXXX"

• Access key Activated

• Use current value as default

Can any one tell me what "Access key Activated" means and what changes when I flag or unflag this option for a specific field ?

This context menu doesn't have anything to do with the NWBC. This same menu comes from Web Dynpro itself and is available in all clients.

As far as the Access Key option, you should probably start by reading about it in the online help:

Well that just opens up the main SAP Help Portal, and searching for "Access key Activated" there turns up nothing... I tried a few documents but couldn't find anything. maybe that page disappeared? So where do we go now?
