Client Export error

Hi,

When I try to export client using 'SCC8' I get below error .

I am not able to get any imput rom any log on this .How do I fix it ?

Transport program tp could not be started.

Start the transport program tp as described in the online description.

cd /usr/sap/trans/bin

./tp pf=TPPARAM export <commfile-name> client<source-client> U1

<commfile-name> is the name of the request specified in the log

<source-client> of the client from which the copy was made.

Example:

./tp pf=TPPARAM export C11KT00012 client005 U1

Hi,

Thanks everybody for your response.

The system is 4.6C . in 4.6C there is an option to test run in scc8 .

as per note :- 338578 , point :-10 , the test run always fails with this error .

Hence this can be ignored and acual import can start .

I have configured stsm properly and it wokrs fine while imporintg TRs in STSM or at OS level

Hello,

I guess the usage of TPPARAM is no longer supported, see

You have to configure STMS and then you will get a valid profile, that can be used for client exports.

Hi Suman,

Whether you configured STMS in that system?

If configured, is that working properly?

You need to check the status of TP before starting the client export.

I guess STMS didnt configured properly.
