Object type Business Object not supported by SAP NetWeaver 7.1.

Dears,

I'm trying to copy a standard Business Object in the Enterprice Service Repository into my Software Component version but when I do it I receive the following error message:

Object type Business Object not supported by SAP NetWeaver 7.1.

Version details:

Service Pack: 07

Release: NW07_07_REL

The PI version is the 7.1

Moreover if I try to create a business object from scratch into my SC version I receive the following message that prevents me from doing that:

Software component version does not support this object type.

Could you please help me on these topics?

Try to ativate only the namespace first.. then try to create the business object...

The namespace is active but anyway is not allowed to create a Business Object.

In the create object screen there is the BO interface object that is grey and the information message "

Software component version does not support this object type".

I am not sure SAP is allowing us to create new business object in IR.

I faced this problem some time back but not come to any conclusion.

Experts any idea?
