order qty is in display mode in qty contract

Hi guru,

I am creating a qty contract through tcode-va41.Here i want to put order qty but it is in display mode. so when i am creating qty contract, target qty=order qty but i want to put different order qty.so anybody can guide me .

Hello,

for contracts target quantities are used.required. This is the standard design. A contract is made for a customer as a agreement to "buy" a certain amount of a material (quantity contract) for a agreed price or to "buy" a certain value

(value contract).

Please test this workaround:

In the contract type customizing, transaction VOV8, the screen flow should be maintained as 'AU'. Current setting is 'LP', outline

agreement. This will have order quantity instead of target quantity.

Please test this very carefully.

Go in to item category details which u r determining in contract and check have u maintained tick mark to Bussiness Item,credit active,cost management.
