Sales order: Create IDOC

Hi

I did manage to configure a new message type(ALE) for purchase order creation.

How does the Sales order create/change work? Do i need to configure a message type?

Hi,

The message type is ORDERS and you have IDOC types from ORDERS01 to ORDERS05. Depending on which version of SAP you are dealing with choose the appropriate one.

You need to configure the message type in the partner profiels (WE20) so that the IDOC can be delivered to the target system. YOu can do this using BD64 - Distribution model as well.

Hi,

that means i have to configure the message type for each partner?

Is there another way for creating sales orders hundreds of different customers without creating several partner profiles?

Or is there a way to create this profiles automatically?
