We run a BDLS for a 900GB BI7.0 and it is still running after 24 hours.
How to check what is wrong and how to finish it successfully?
Thanks a lot!
Hi,
As an example, on our ECC 6 systems with a 1.6 TB database, BDLS runs for 48 hours...
Of course, functional people ask why it is so long to do a system refresh !

Olivier

Thanks for the replies.
I remember that 4 years ago, I did extensive system copy using Oracle recovery method from on-line backup.
I never ran BDLS at that moment. We change SID in some tables such as TADIR, and tcode SE06 only.
Why now BDLS is a must? Could you help explain? Thanks a lot.
Happy Holiday!
(P.S. Mark: I do not remember the table name.)
Hi,
Why now BDLS is a must?
Certin tables especially the Idoc tables need the logical system changing or certain functional areas E.G. FI will not be able to view certain data.
P.S. Mark: I do not remember the table name.)
If it's still running what table is it reading in SM50. Give you some idea how far through.
Regards
Mark

BDLS is a slow process and takes a long time... so be patient
