How to integrate the portal server with third party system

I got a requirement to create a integration between portal server and thrid party system.

If anybody have specific document for this kindly circulate the same to shakthigin@yahoo.co.in

Hi

Here you go the steps

1)First create/define the 3rd Party system in SLD

2)Create a template (under sys admin>> sys config)

3)Create the system with ncessary connection parameters and define system alias

4)map the user for the system alais

5)create an iView and do the necessary parameters (like system alais, template etc..)
