We have a mobile webdynpro application running on Intermec devices in our warehouses. We are looking at using the SOTI device management tool to manage the devices throughout our company.
Looking through at the Mobile Add-On Library UI Elements, it says that it only supports the Intermec iBrowse browser program or the Symbol PocketBrowser browser.
Has anyone used the Windows Mobile browser with the Mobile Add-on UI elements instead of the iBrowse application or the PocketBrowser application? We would like to use the SOTI application to lock down the browser that is on the device.
Thanks,
Dale Dingmann
Hi Dale
Intermec browser and Symbol browser has the capability to detect the meta tags for barcode scanning and RFID, which is not available in windows mobile browser. You can also try Naurtech browser.
Mobile add-on library is not supported for windows mobile browser.
