mandatory characteristic

Hi,

is it possible to create a characteristic that is mandatory or not mandatory depending on the value of another characteristic?

I try to explain:

if characteristic A is 123 than characteristic B is mandatory

if characteristic A is 321 than characteristic B in not mandatory

Hi MRPINK,

You can give characteristics dependency, in characteristics B, say Characteristics A= '123' and select the check box "Entry Required" of the characteristics so is the dependency meets then it would be mandatory to fill the value of characteristic B.

you should try to create a dependancy between characteristics or values.

You can find many threads by searching "characteristics dependency"
