Hello,
I would like to know if it's possible to access Adobe lifecycle API in a "standard" JEE5 application like it's possible to do in a WD4J application?
My need is to be able to generate pdf documents, that come from user input and Adobe forms. We want to let user create their own pdf forms and build the final PDF document starting from this form (or the xml representation of it... or whatever format that could represent this form) and using some values type in directly by the users in the application.
Thanks all of you for your answers.
Hello,
there are ways how to do similar things with the forms as when you use the SAP/ Adobe API/ licence. You can check the free iText lib to create/ generate/ fill PDF documents. Available features are considerably reduced (when I checked the last time 6 months ago), but there are workarounds t create SAP/ Adobe-like solution using this lib.
Hope this help, Otto
