Problem in BAPI_PO_CREATE1

Hi,

There is an issue with the BAPI_PO_CREATE1 (BAPI for Creation Of Purchase Order). I have completed all the steps successfully and finally got a success message in result table. In which it has returned me a PO number also but the same (PO No.) and line item data was not updated in the corresponding tables and the corresponding T-Code ME21N.

Hi Nimish,

Thanks for prompt reply. But SRM is out of our landscape. I think I am missing some important steps. It may be on Customization or data side. But I am filling all data, which is given in BAPI documentation. Please clear one thing is BAPI required any special customization. Please let me know about this query.

Hello Vakul,

if BAPI_PO_CREATE1 returns a PO number, that means that the PO is created in R/3.

What do you mean with "line item data was not updated in the corresponding tables": which tables are you talking about ? R/3 tables EKKO & EKPO ?

PS: to display PO in R/3, use ME23N and not ME21N.

HI Vakul

First check BBP_PD id there are any messages.

Anaylse on the message by inputing the Object type and Object number in BBP_PD.

Check the number ranges in SRM as well R/3.

In SRM it should be Internal and in R//3 it should be external.

Check whether Document type is maintained in PPOMA_BBP.
